Our Company

Stitched is the brain child of Jeni Shirley, beginning in 2005. Jeni wanted to provide a fun and interesting product that captures her creativity, and combats the over-produced sterile world that mass production has surrounded us with. Every card is hand made in Utah, and we like to think that a Stitched Card says more than a regular ol' boring mass-printed card. The real boost was in 2009 with the launch of Stitchedcards.com.

It's roots take place in Salt Lake City, Utah, however it's cards have been used as far as New Zealand. It's the web that makes Stitched an international product, but Jeni loves supporting local communities and tries hard to shop and sell in and around Salt Lake, and encourages others to do the same. Buying local is what makes local community wonderful and strong.

Jacob Shirley is Stitched web designer, who makes online creativity, sales, and communication possible. Jacob has over ten years of graphic design and web development experience. Jacob lends valuable insights and direction on creative design. He is also responsible for fashioning the beautiful stands that display the cards in our retailers' stores.

We hope you enjoy Stitched cards and gifts as much as we do. As the designers of the unique Give Again™ system, our cards are more than just cards -- they are genuine gifts that can be reused and enjoyed multiple times. Each stitched card is arranged with an aesthetically lovely interior. We guarantee satisfaction!

The Stitched Community

The Stitched goal is to help the hand-made and local community we are part of to develop. We value the hard-earned skills and creativity of people, and we enjoy seeing that passion become strengthened by collaboration. We work closely with our neighbors to gain a healthy knowledge of their needs.

Stitched supports those who make our community better. That is why we often host and participate in fund raisers from which donations are contributed toward effective improvement, support, and environmental protection efforts. For those interested in joining us in this effort, please contact us with your interest. Stitched has participated in the following programs:

Best Sew-Original Greeting Cards

Salt Lake City Weekly

The Hallmark-ing of American sentiment has led to a situation in which buying a card may indicate that you remembered, but not that you’ve really given someone much thought. Utah’s Jeni Shirley decided to turn the giving of cards into an opportunity to give something truly distinctive—a one-of-a-kind piece of embroidered art. Birthdays, graduations and every other possible occasion are covered by one of Stitched Cards’ designs; there are even cards honoring other similarly local-minded enterprises, like Sam Weller’s Bookstore. And unlike disposable cards, you’ll want to pass these on in a way that makes “re-gifting” make sense. Visit one of the partner retailers, or check out the full catalog online.

Chairs. On your wallpaper. Covering your tote. It may seem weird at first, but unique furniture shapes do make interesting motifs and are becoming popular as such. It?s not the least bit unusual for different schools of design to inspire one another, so you?d better get used to it. embroidered card by Stitched and pillows by Treasury
